The JazzReggae Festival is the largest student-run festival in the nation. It attracts over 30,000 spectators every year and spans over two days during Memorial Day Weekend. I had the privilege of being the Art Director for the 26th Annual festival.
Leading a team of 4 art staffers, I orchestrated all variety of visual experiences including: graphic design, marketing, installation art, publicity, concert visuals, live artists and galleries. That year, artists like Shaggy, The Roots and Gary Clark Jr. performed.
Working on this festival has been one of the most fulling experiences I have had while at UCLA. I am thankful to be able to work with such an incredible group of students and to have accomplished putting on such a large professional event.
